To help carry out the mission of Passion City Church that we are: for God, for people, for the city, and for the world. The role of the Community Resident is to help build Passion City Church by working alongside the Community Team. This Team exists to serve and support ministry areas including: Local Engagement, LOVE ATLANTA, Community Groups, and Formation areas such as LAUNCH, Care, UNITE and Access. The Community Resident will assist and serve these teams and provide support where needed.


As it relates to COMMUNITY GROUPS:

  • Coordinate logistics for Community Groups, including but not excluded to, on-boarding interns, working with venue Event Coordinators, and overseeing logistic details.
  • Develop CG marketing - working with Communications Team to develop the ideas and schedule for social media and email communication.
  • Expansion plan for Community Groups - research venues around Atlanta to prepare for multiplication.
  • Co-lead in planning, coordination and execution of large yearly events (Friendsgiving, Block Parties, Leadership Nights).
  • Developing Host Teams through trainings and meetings.
  • Working with our Team to help write and edit Community Group content.


  • Coordinate the registration process and follow up with attendees for LAUNCH.
  • Develop and work a plan for the growth of LAUNCH.
  • Perform certain key functions related to Pastoral Care ministry that include: emergency assistance, homeless engagement, financial assistance, hospital visits, recovery/rehabilitation ministry.
  • Procure postage/cards, gifts, flowers, and write well wishes, words of encouragement and thank you notes to people of our House.
  • Help lead the logistics for UNITE. Some of these tasks would include assisting couples as they move through our CRM tool (CONNECT), matching mentor couples with mentee couples, and assisting host events related to UNITE.
