LEAD / PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER

OBJECTIVE
Responsible for stewarding the software engineering initiatives for all Passion organizations. A positive, team-oriented, kingdom-minded individual who models initiative, service, and accuracy as they play a pivotal role on the team. This role will directly impact the vision and execution of custom digital platforms across the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead stewardships of custom enterprise platforms, applications and integrations
- Oversee engineering, building and improving applications, tooling, and integrations for Passion, Inc. (Passion City Church, sixstepsrecords, and Passion Conferences)
- Use technical knowledge and creative thinking to provide innovative solutions using industry standard tools including Vue.js, PHP, C#/.NET CORE, and SQL/TSQL
- Assist in casting vision for the engineering team, including long and short-term roadmaps
- Be involved in all aspects of engineering — playing a critical role in design, planning, programming, and deployment
- Ensure that all implemented solutions are scalable and reliable, supporting our cloud based infrastructure in AWS
- Consult on technical third party contributions and collaborations for alignment and success of any contracted and proposed solutions
- Assist in growing the engineering team including hiring, training, evaluation, discipline, and discharge

AN IDEAL INDIVIDUAL
Degree in Computer Science or 4-5 years of relevant experience leading teams and building enterprise level solutions and applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability and desire to learn new applications/processes/environments. Self-starter in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Possess a “Do what it takes” attitude.
